I know that feeling all to well, Joey. My problem at the house I bowl on Saturdays and Mondays is getting any ball to move. Tuesdays its the opposite, trying to tame the reaction on any ball I have but one and with added oil towards the outside that ball is hard to find a line with. I can move it and most of the balls will still dive, and then I move a little further and the ball hits light. I'm thinking of changing inserts and to stop using the
tape on my ring finger so I can get a better feel. I think the cut is cured enough to give it ago. My other problem is feeling lost on some spares, not knowing where to line up and target when going after them.
Saab, someone brought up the leaving of 8 and 9 pins in another topic. I'm assuming you are right handed, and most of the time the 8 is left on a high flush shot and the 5 is pushed straight back as opposed to at the 8. You might be getting a little hyped and just getting a little extra on the ball and it moves a half a board too much. The other explanation is hitting a little too light and the 5 going straight across in front of the 8 and once again it could be caused by getting a little too hyped causing you to throw the ball just a hair faster.
