Another bad night. Two league nights in a row. I dont know why after i bowl a great series i go into a slump. Samething last fall i shot a 699 and then went into a two month slump. This is no difference shot 679 and this week and last week i cant even brake 500. I need to figure out what im doing wrong. Why in practice i can bowl better vs league. I know i need to work on spare game recently it has tooka dump and its causing me about 11+ pins a missed spare. I havent had clean game in three weeks. if you really want to know 150-148-152 = 460 Terrible http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=5640

take half of your practice time and work on spares. Once you get lined up the on the strike ball, throw to the 10 pin, then to the 7 pin. Next time up, throw to the 2pin for the bucket shot, then throw to the 3 pin next ball. These are the common spares to be made during the game. If you only get one ball per turn on practice, throw to the 10 and the bucket.

Brandon, finally I can use something from Bowlsk. You missed your target by more than 4 boards when you missed. That's huge. Tells me something is wrong with your delivery, your arm or timing. You have a mechanics problem. Try to think this thru or post a vid.

The sweep of the "Killer Bees" this week helped my team jump up to 5th place in the league standings. However, we are still 14 points behind Team 18 for the lead with only 2 weeks left. We bowl against another team behind us, Team 9, next week, then it will be the position round, which, if it were to be next week, would put us up against Team 12, which took 6 points from us earlier in the season.

We had the Cheetah pattern last night, and for the most part I had a decent night. Started off with my SD-73, going straight up the 5 board for a nice 210 having one open. The next two games the lanes seemed as though they were changing on every shot and my ball was really taking off. So I switched up to a pearl particle, my Roto-Grip Mystic and the next two were a 188, 182. My last game was not good at all..a measley 120 nothing was working, but we took 7 of 10 points so all was not lost. All in all I was ok with the results, but disappointed that I could not come up with a plan when things started to go awry in the last game. A weakness I have to get a grip on.

Brandon,
Hang in there. It is amazing when you think how little you can be off and the terrible results it can have in this game. Now go figure this, I bowl generally lousy this week and we win all 4. I shot a 472 (122,171,179). FIrst game just everything was of but I somehow got through the night without total disaster.

Eraser, in case I forget this when you come into chat later, it sounds the like the first part of the plan went well. Adjustments later in the game get tough. Your best bet probably would have been to stick with the Mystic and give it more speed, less axis rotation. Where were you playing the lanes in the first 3, and where did you try in the last game?
