It kind of makes you appreciate the internet when you can just do a search and watch your favorite pro bowl as opposed to back in the day having to wait for the new season and then hope that your favorite makes the show.

The internet for me has become both a blessing and a curse. Bowling is not my only interest - I am also a member of several reality show forums and a political forum.

As my wife says I should get up off my butt and start doing more work around the house.

That is the best thing about recovering from surgery, if I don't feel like doing chores, I just point to my knees and come up with a sob story. It doesn't work that well too much any more though which is why I haven't been around except for a few minutes here and there. I was feeling lazy the other day and she wanted me to chase the vacuum around and I had to pull out a tape measure and show her my legs were swelling, but that will not work anymore since the swelling has gone down so I need to come up with another excuse or throw myself down the stairs. idea

Hey John and Jim, when I recovered from a broken back quite a few years ago. The Doctor gave me instructions to take it easy and be careful of certain activities that may aggravate the problem again. So, I would try to help the wife around the house, but there were certain things that I just couldn't do because of back pain, like: Pushing a vacuum, standing too long at the sink to wash dishes, pushing a mower, digging holes for plants and flowers. It has been 17 years now, and for some strange reason, everytime I try to help vacuum, my back acts up and I have to sit down.

My wife is very concerned that this has persisted for so long.

My wife would preform back surgery on me if I tried that, I had better stick to throwing myself down the stairs it is safer. I just have to wait until she is looking, or she still may not buy it.

The reason outside 10 was out of bounds years ago (on the right side) was because of the Track. The right handers got friction when the ball hit the Track, but if it got wide of the Track, it lost that added friction and would not recover. With todays surfaces, even putting down those old conditions, you would not have the same reaction because there is no Track on synthetic lanes.

My wife is an RN with almost 30 years in the emergency room so I can't get away with much. Unless it is life threatening, I can't get no satisfaction (sympathy) from her.
