I owned a pair of Etonics, they were nice. The only reason I bought a different pair is I wanted a pair of fully adjustable shoes, including the heel. I only had them for a few months, still own them just don't use them. Be warned Etonic's heels are a bit taller than most others, and thats why I went to a different pair and for one center mainly.

I have heard that the heels leave rubber marks on the approach that can cause people to stick and fall. That happened in a match between Wes Mallot and Patrick Allen, they talked about it on TV, as well as Jack Jurek tossing a 300 game and then starting the next game on the next pair, by sticking on the approach because someone on the pair ahead of him was using etonics and was leaving rubber marks on the approach.

I remember them talking about the situation with Mallot and Allen, I didn't realize Wes was wearing Etonics though. I know he doesn't like to slide so they probably help him with that.

At this point if I had to recommend shoes to someone, I would recommend either Dexters or the new 900 Global shoes, formerly known as Dynoroos http://www.900global.com/shoes/tourultra

Since the right foot of my Dexter SST7s is coming apart I've been contemplating the 3Gs. I originally was looking at Dynoroos when I bought my SST7s but no body had the ones I was looking at in my size, I barely found a pair of the Dexters in my size. Part of the money I get back from leagues will probably go to a pair of 3Gs.

900 Global Shoes look pretty good. I think i get those for my next shoe purchase. Right now i have Brunswick interchangable sholes. They Guy from Dexter at Minicamp i went to said those are SST6 just that they but Brunswick Logo on them. However, my non sliding shoe soles is comming apart so i might have to replace them soon.

This was a couple of years ago when I bought the Dexters. I think it was maybe something with the time of year and inventory as it was around the end of July, beginning of August. Most of the places were out of many sizes at the time. I wear a 11 1/2, probably could go to an 11 with how my shoes are currently fitting, a little on the loose side.

I have a cheap pair of etonic which I have ruined from wearing them outside. They have no slide left in them after 2 weeks. I just ordered a pair of the lava etonic. They're flashy, but I like crazy stuff like that. I'll make sure not to wear these outside when I go smoke.
