I guess thats the only way some bowlers can take the last step when doing the two handed. Its a little hard to take the steps correctly if you have your whole upper body turned to the side.

thanks for the comments. yes last year i bowl with one hand, and start trying 2 hand out. I get more rev without even trying, but accuracy i have to train it again. What I learn here last year about hand behind the ball, free armswing , good timing still apply in 2 handed, only need to learn how to play deep and get my body adjusted to the new approach. I also found that Osku 2nd last step didnt go beyond his 3rd last step compare to Belmon and other one hand bowler. After I video myself i found out that my footwork a bit similar to Osku, but still very far from his I think. My span is very short around 4 1/2 , and I have a weak wrist , so i think physically I feel that 2 handed I am more comfortable. Hope someone playing 2 handed here can help me along.

Steve, your span is not short. Heck, my span is 4 5/8", but admittedly, I have a much larger frame than you do. Even at that, my soon-to-be ex-wife had a 3 7/8" span and had no problems getting anything on the ball. It's all about technique. You don't have to have an enormous span or "Popeye forearms" to generate a decent rev rate.

But, you do what you think you need to. Good luck with your two-handed bowling, or whatever suits you at the moment.
