With winter leagues not too far off soon it will be time for each team to pick a team name and it's always fun to come up with something unique and creative. What are the best team names you heard or made up?

Please don't post vulgar ones. smile

The most clever one I seen is: We don't give a split.

As I thought about it before writing this post I realized that a lot the teams I've been on had a name that followed the same theme; Pour Another One, N.E.B.G. (No Empty Bottles or Glasses), Who's Carrying Who Home, and Will Bowl For Alcohol.

I've seen some interesting youth team names:

The most popular - "We Don't Care" which is the answer they gave the tournament co-ordinator when asked what their team name was.

"Balls of Steel" and "The Big Johnsons" actually got announced for the team introductions at a youth tournament.

"Last Place" - and they were.

"Always Finishing First" - and they didn't.

My favorite - "Three Dudes and a Psycho Chick" - and she was.

Young, Dumb, and Full of It--they were.

Fine Young Attitude--yep.

Bowling Chicas--they misprounced it at City Tournament thinking the team was made up of baby chickens.

My team is currently named, "12 STEP APPROACH", I've also used my user name "MOTION2STRIKE", a little more crude was "BOWLING BALLERS".

Forgot two others. I had a great guy on my team for a few years who looked at the world differently.

One year we were Angel's Charlie. The next we were All the Secretary's Men. smile
