Here are the finalists.

Mike Scroggins vs. Rhino Page
Mike Edwards vs. Jack Jurek

In match 1, as much as I want Rhino to win his first title, I don't see Scroggins losing. He has been tough this year. In match 2, I think that Edwards will come out on top. He has a lot more experience on TV. Then, in the finals, I think that Scroggins will win again. He has been a real surprise this year.

Other than some easy single pin spare misses early in the season, Scroggins has been tough on TV, especially in the second half. Whether or not he beats Rhino, I don't know, but its all in how well Rhino throws the ball. I don't know much about the other two but I believe the winner will come out of the Scroggins/Page match. I won't know until after its all said and done since I have to work tomorrow frown .

I would like to see Mike Edwards win one, that guy has paid his dues and deserves it.

I also like to see Mike Edwards win again. He has 1 title to his credit and seems every year i see him make a show or two but just doesnt have the pins fall his way.

Though Rhino this season been hot comming out of TQR. He might finally brake through and win a title.

Well congrats to Page on his first PBA victory. Many more to come in his career I'm sure. Possibly could contend with Bohn for best lefty of all time, and maybe even WRW for best bowler of all time!

I think Page will have to rack a few more victories around 30+ more. Then we can start claiming him one of the greatest. Though he off to a great start.

My wife and I just got back from the seeing the show, live. Rhino was completely lined up prior to his match with Scroggins. He started the day with a Gamebreaker, dulled and just wasn't getting a look, but then switched to the Complete NV and was just there.

I felt bad for both Jurek and Edwards, but what can you do?

Also go to bowl the ProAm on Sat. and had a great 6 bowlers: Doug Ken (Awesome) Riga Kalfas, Tommy Jones, WRW Jr, Mitch Beasley and Todd Book.

Riga was quiet, but really nice. Smooth. Tommy was quiet and really looked like he was hurting... WRW Jr was good, but I think that he's had enough of the extra stuff and after so long, I can imagine... Mitch Beasley was nice.

Todd Book was GREAT! Fun, talkative and totally supportive. He's actually as good a bowler left handed as right and is thinking about bowling 5-6 events next year left handed. He's really amazing.

We also got to watch the skills challenge, but I have to tell you that it's really boring live. They have so many tricks, but it's not like the half hour show. Did get to see the Flying Eagle live... Pulled it off.

Great time. Looking forward to next year.

Funny you should say that...

Here's what Rhino had to say about it...

From the PBA website:

Quote:
I came in with a really good game plan, Page said. I knew Scroggins could strike a lot from where he was playing so I tried to throw a dull ball and burn the lanes up and change where he was playing. Luckily it helped me also get the room I needed to shoot some big scores.

Glad to see him finally win!
