Have to give a huge hand to a good friend of mine that bowls in the same Tuesday night house as me, and a former teammate. Sunday he shot 825! with 300. Then last night finishes with 300 and 802. Granted, THS on wood, but still, you have to throw 'em... So Ron, Congrats!

Finally feel like I'm breaking out of the mini slump I was in. Timing seemed off, but two weeks ago today, my wife and I found out that we are expecting our third child in October. Ever since then, everything seems to be just clicking again, haven't been under 640 since...

Last night was no different. Almost didn't have bowling due to the pounding of snow that we had, almost a foot where I am, but our league won't cancel! Snow, Sleet, Rain will not stop bowling from happening.

Dennis, nice set! I'd looked at the Legend's equipment, and I see you have two, so you like them ok? I was intrigued by the construction, core and shell...

Anyway, nice bowling everyone. Keep pitchin' good shots!

- Travis

Well I only bowled two games last night as it was the last day of league and it was completely free (free food, drinks and bowling). I made sure to keep my tempo nice and slow and threw a 207 and 258, wewt! Lets see what I can do tonight!

I had a bad night on Monday...coming down with the flu...I ended up shooting 177, 180, and 204...couldn't hit the same mark twice if my life depended on it...I take it from reading a lot on here that I might have been muscling the ball forward a lot...who knows...all i know is that I spent the next 20+ hours after that in bed...on the mend now..but chalk up one wasted week....

No bowling week is a wasted week! Plus being out and doing something will probably help your flu die off faster because the blood is pumping a little harder and your immune system can reach different places faster.

I've had some of my best nights when I was under the weather. A few weeks ago I was like that, coming off of two days in bed I went bowling. The first game wasn't so well as I was kind of foggy and it was more carry issues than bad shots, but came back the second and third game and everything was clear and I executed great. Now I just wish I could get back to that form which I had a start on last night.

True...but I felt pretty good just lying in bed watching all my Simpsons DVD's for the whole day

My sister said some of her best weeks have been when she really didn't feel like bowling or when she did not feel well.

I guess my problem is I always look forward to bowling!!!

Same problem I have LOL... I couldn't take more than a week off to let my hand heal. Still did alright, but I just couldn't wait to bowl!
