Binx, we don't kick, but we don't kiss either.
You have very little flow. You are just pitching the ball on the lane. A 3 step is OK, but it seems to make your arm rush. Relax.
Have you tried a longer approach to 4 or 5 steps? You get to the foul line pretty quickly, and don't give the arm a chance to swing. It is very controlled.
You can see the control by your backstep at release. Your arm is coming through so fast that it actually pushes your body back.
Again, RELAX.

I can't watch the video being at work, but yeah you want everything to be relaxed. The only muscles that you really should be consciously working are your legs, everything else should be an effect of the ball swinging freely. After a while your legs will even begin to feel like they're working on their own.

binx take a video of your self from the side about 2 lanes away. make sure the ball return is not blocking the view. look at the pic under Quantative Analysis this is a 4 step approach. try to copy the first step.

If you have one available in your area, invest some money in a coach. I'm not trying to sound snobby or rude about it, but there are so many things you need to work on that a bunch of people around the globe simply can't help through videos and message boards. And since you're more on the beginner level, you would benefit much more from having someone there first person.

You definately need one on one coaching. You need somebody there that can walk you through the whole approach and answer questions as they come up in real time. Definitely work on a 4 or 5 step approach. I think that would help you out tremendously. Good Luck!!!
