When I went to pick up my spare ball, my buddy who drilled it for me had a Columbia 300 Action Packed sitting in his garage that he said someone grew out of and left it to him. He said he'd drill it up for me and let me have it. Just wondering if anybody had any info on this ball or has throw it.

Thanks, Travis

Here some Info i found on that ball:

Action Packed combines a very low Rg, high-flaring core with our proven M80^2 coverstock. This reactive formula will provide the friction of a particle ball while maintaining one of the strongest backend reactions on the market today. Building on the success of the Action, this core and coverstock match will go longer and stronger down the lane than the original. The perfect pair for high-scoring action.

Ball Specifications
Core Technology: Dense core body - featuring dense energy flip blocks.

Core Technology Benefits: Core body concentrates the weight near the center core giving you faster revving action. The flip-blocks add flare potential for more overall hook.

Coverstock: M80^2

Coverstock Benefit: A high luster, aggressive M80^2 reactive coverstock generates the heart stopping traction that enables the Action Packed to create one of the strongest breakpoint-to-pocket hook motions on the market today.

Hardness: 75-78

ABC/WIBC Approved: Yes

Track Flare: 5-6

Color: Blue/Red/Copper

Sanding Process: Polished

Polish Name: 2000 Degree Polish
Action Packed core

Hook Rating

Thanks Brandon, I'd read the basics on it. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Can't find a whole lot out there on the interenet about it. Its a 14 lb ball which is lighter than my others, not sure if i'll get use to it. He told me it had more of a continuous arc instead of skid/flip layout. Interested in trying it out when I have time to practice with it. I can't say no to free bowling balls. thumbsup

Yeah comes from Columbia Action Series which has been discontinued since Ebonite took over the company. I have had experiance with two of there balls in action series. The orginal action and action attack. Both great Balls. Had some good series with the balls. My friend use to throw action pack and what i could see had great pin action. He mainly used it on Medium oil- Light condtions.
