We have had a couple of interesting team names here in the Virgin Islands....

my team for the new winter season will be:

"Splits for Brains"

"Powerball 4" (we're sponsored by the Caribbean Lotto)

but we also have teams:

Roll 'Pon Dem
My House
TOOOOO MUUUCCCCCHHHH!
and of course, (due to so many storms here, not the balls thrown)

Tropical Storm
Storm Warning
Category 4

Only been on one of these teams, but seen the others used.

Llamedos (read it backwards)

Hoof Hearted

L M D (Low Man Drop - 3 man team, with 5 rostered bowlers)

Temazepam (a drug previously used to treat schizophrenia, now banned)

J B L ("Just bl**dy lucky", and they were)

Please don't post vulgar ones. smile

The last team I bowled with had the name The Glitfods. We had kicked around words made up on the spur of the moment and that seemed appropriate. The look on the president's face when he had to announce us at the payouts was great and it got us a good laugh.

One of my military teams called ourselves
The Shuddabins ( should have beens) because that was a common thing we frequently said.
A senior team I knew called themselves X-LAX

I play in adult/junior leagues with my 12 year old brother. Since I'm not creative, I let him pick the names...

So far:

Creeping Evil

Gods of Death

Flaming Missles of Death

Anyone else think he needs therapy?

My Monday team went with NASCAR Chix. Hey, it could be worse. Last year we were The Odd Balls (YECCH).
