Alright gotta add my two cents...
One team name was the same as my name on here "No open tenths" -- good to have a goal right. Current team name Deviant Behavior.
Probably my favorite was S.O.S. Didn't mean anythig specific, so we changed its meaning depending on the night. Striking on sundays, Saving our strikes, Striving for Sixes,etc...

I just started on a Mondy mixed league last night; our team name is: Shake, Rattle & Bowl. We bowled the Gutterballs, and they stood true to their name! thumbsup

A little late, but oh well...

Anyway, our team name is "Wet Bandits". I don't remember the exact tagline behind it, but it was good. We always joke about the fact that we're the bandits, but we're the ones getting robbed (we're in last place right now). Along the lines of the last post, one of the teams in our Wednesday night league is called Gutters 'R' Us. Since they're one of the few teams whom we can beat from time to time, their name is fairly appropriate. Other team names I've seen and liked at the local house:
Strong Balls
Teamsters (these guys are really fun to bowl against, they're one of the best teams, but they're great sports and they'll root for the bowlers on the other team)
Kingpins (this is my team captain's Thursday night mixed doubles team name, it wouldn't mean much except for the fact that his last name is King)
Have No Clue
Balls 'N' Sacs
And then there was our team name before we became the Wet Bandits, get a load of this one:
NEW TEAM

In my league that a team that calls themselves "I Don't Know". It a riot to ask "who are you playing tonight. Response I don't know. Reply how come you don't know it is on the paper.

Some of my youth teams were:
The Unknown Wonders (did we have egos or what?)

The Ukraine Gargoyles (don't remember how we came up with that one)

The Atomic Explosion (no clue here, either)

The Asbestos Suits (our team slogan was "we can take the heat)

I haven't seen our team name here, yet. We are:

The Sliding Otters

Of course, we are sponsored by Otter Creek Sand and Gravel, but I still think Otters are the ultimate Sliders!

OK, My kids team: Nuclear Warheads. Another team on her leagus was called "Mike,Your Dads Here!" for obivous reasons. The funny part of that is every time Mikes dad came in to pick him up after junior league, half the house started to chant that. Now everyone knows who he is. My league team, "Jello Shots" and my travel league,Have Balls,Will Travel ..... Rusty279 thumbsup

My most recent team name was "Who'd we hang this time?"

About 3 times a game....every game......we hung somebody

We would all yell "WE HUNG SOMEBODY"
