I bowl in a team called Total Chaos. Not particularly creative but a whole lot better than the ever original *cough* Pin Pals that my friend started. I think the best team name I have seen in my league is simply "Team Name". They won the league the season they had that name then, being a bunch of Star Wars buffs, changed to "The Force". They finished wooden spooners that year

Ok you have to be Greek to fully get this but give it a try: There is a village up the mountains of Greece secluded and really oldfashioned, traditional and untouched by time. It is called ALTZOUMERKA. The first syllable of my teams last names formed the name of the village (AL-mberti, TZOU-ni, MER-tyri, KA-terina) So we called ourselves ALTZOUMERKA and have on our shirt a drawing of some villagers out in the country having barbeque (the greek way, roasting lamb on a stick) drinking, feasting and playing bowling! Really cracks everyone up!
This year though I will try to go for the Manchester United idea someone dropped in here! Really original!

Our last league, when asked what our team name would be, we told them that we don't have a clue. I then shouted, "It's Don't Have A Clue." I guess we did have a clue because we won the championship pins, the cash, and all the awards.Our current team is put simply "Knock em Down." We were tied for 1st until we were knocked out last night. Which is fine with me because it's too early in the season to be in 1st. I like coming up from the depths to take it over like we've always done, makes winning all the more special.

My friends being "The Big Lebowski" buffs, are gonna use the team name "The White Russians" with me being the Chinaman...

My ABC team - Silver Bullets (hmm, what do we drink)
My WIBC team - Twisted Sisters (and we are sisters)

My Men's team name- SOFA KING AWESOME!

One year I bowled in two leagues, each team had the "Bad Company" name, but we called them "Bad Company I" and "Bad Company II". Both teams were successful.

I've always believed that a team name should intimidate the opposing team. With the opposing team wondering who you are, you've won part of the mental battle in bowling.With the exception of "Cool Runnings", I think Silent Rage and Bad Company did that.

our name is "Ralph's Pinbusters" and has been for 20 years I'm told
