Last night I had a pretty erratic night myself. First game I did pretty good shooting a 235. Started the second game with three straight splits, so I made a ball change and strung a four bagger, staying clean the rest of the way for an even 200. The third game I could not find a line, and it turned into a split fest. Both teams struggled, and I shot a paultry 139. At least we took 5 of 7 leaving us in third place. I really have to get better at adjusting to the breakdown..

Had a nice 639 last week - 228, 201, 210. Nice to have them all over 200. I'm executing better + more consistently, and making better decisions. Up to 187.6 avg. Only 1 open all night, chopped the 2-8 off a 1-2-8 leave. Waited until now to post because I wanted to include the graphic of my average by week. I really like the way it looks, and it mirrors the way I've felt about my game recently.

We took all 7 again, in 3rd, with 2 teams tied at first. We're 3 behind. We need to get to 2nd after next week, because the following week is position round for the first half.

Excellent series cgeorg. Keep up the wins and you'll be in 1st.

I wasn't able to open the graphic of your average. Says its not found. Am I the only one who can't get it?

I'd like to see it and find out what program you use to create the graph -- its something I've wanted to do also. My average has gone from 120 to 152 this year (I'm a beginner).

Missed a few updates...been busy with the holidays. Last week Tuesday-500, bad lane conditions whole team struggled. Sunday-535 messed up my last game with a gutter should of had a decent series.

I've had the pitch of my thumb changed so I'll get out of the ball better. It took a bit of practice to get use to the change but it paid off on Tuesday.

1st game- 223
2nd game- 187
3rd game- 224
Series- 634

Hopefully it will continue to be a rewarding change. I'll update after Sunday

Another inconsistent outing by me. I subbed tonight and felt good going in. Even in practice I was on, started out the game with 4-5 strikes then 10 pins happened. I recognize it as transition but i chose poorly moving left and opened the 9th and 10th frames, we lost by 19 pins. That just pissed me off.

Game 2 I have NO idea what I was thinking. I stayed right and the ball jumped left. I moved left and it would sail. I made ball changes and minus one easy spare the opens were splits to the tunr of 147. With a 211 average I killed the team and embarased myself which I seem to do a lot of lately.

Game 3 I went back to the original ball and just a shade left of my original line. Granted I had to put more speed on it but I rolled a solid 244 except I ended the game with a 6-7-10 split. We crushed them BUT their anchor carried strikes and they won wood by the slimmest of margins. So basically my handicap and garbage bowling sunk the team yet again. I could care less it's a 595 series, I'm truely burnt out. Thank God I have a ton of plans the next 2 weeks/weekends so no bowling other than leagues. That MIGHT just be what I need at the moment.

Argh! Last three week been very sub par for me in league. For some reason my timming is way off not sure why i changed something maybe sub concisiously i changed it with out me knowing. So my coach showed up the last few frames of my last game and noticed i somehow developed fast feet again and some shots trying to pull the ball into the pocket. So tommorw i have short session with him and hopefully be able to work som kinks out.

For tonight terrible by my standards. Under 500 series for second straight week. (195-116-172 = 483). We are in first only one 1 game (2pts). So if the second team won all 7 we would end up in tie again. On the plus side we did qualify as a team for the house league finals. But seems my two other team mates dont have time to bowl that tournment. So i guess we will forfiet out spot then to another team in our league for that tournment.

Sorry to hear that Brandon. You will come around. I am still rolling but nothing spectacular tonight. A 518 (175, 176, 168). Very consistent. This is the 7th straight week I have bowled above my average so I will take it. My team started the night in 7th, 5 games out of first and went 3-1 so we are doing well. My concentration was off tonight for some reason but I will work on it next week.

Brandon,
I have the same problem from time to time...fast feet, and then muscling it to catch up. Its was the cause of my dreadfull start to the season. I fixed it and my average is creeping up, but last night I started to get fast again, resulting in a not so great night..185, 182, 150..we were in first place, it was in position and we split the points..so we are still in first, so thats good.
Got to correct the fast feet though before it gets out of hand.

Brett, our secretary uses a program that puts all our stuff online.

http://www.leaguesecretary.com/LeagueFiles.aspx?LID=18004

I paid 6 bucks for the upgrade (don't know why our league didn't just get the upgrade!) which lets me see history + reports. A co-worker was able to view older weeks just by manually editing the url, but he couldn't get to the reports. The graphic is from one of the premium bowler reports.

I've used CatBowl + Ebonite's Personal Bowler Something-or-other in the past, both nice programs, but didn't care to shell out the money to register them.

I'll try posting the graphic again, I can't get to it either now. it may be because I added it in an edit last time.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday cool

Apparantly I am still on vacation - with an ending series of 390 for the night, 175 pins less than last week, I would say that I definitely was not there last night. I went in with a 161 average - with last nights whatever you want to call it I go back down to 159.

My neck and back are kinda stiff this week (probably from the 23 hour drive home) and my uncle thinks that I may have been holding back. I didn't have much speed on the ball at all and it was taking off on me and since I am not used to that kind of hook I wasn't sure how to control it.

Hopefully I will feel better for Saturday and next Thursday.
