Is there anyone in the Orlando area that is willing to help me with my hook and other parts of my game. I have asked a few people where I bowl and I get nothing.. its like they are apart of a club and they won't let me in. I watch bowling everyday on espn and i read ron clifton's the bowlers release and also watch the stroker and cranker release from ourworld. I guess I get frustrated because I want to learn, I want to be better. Any help would be appreciated.

As much as I want to learn, I can't afford the prices.

Check with your local lanes. They often have Coaching available. Sometimes at group rates or less. Ours runs specials on training. Just pay for lane fees.

If you want coaching, odds are you're going to have to pay for it. Check the junior leagues around you. They should have certified coaches either running or helping those leagues. Think of coaching as an investment, not an expense.

I believe Tom Blasco is about an hour or south of Orlando. That's who you want to work with. He can do a full grip analysis, approach analysis, and give you a plan for improvement.

I believe Steve can hook him up with you, if thats what you want to do.

Its well worth the money if you are seeking to improve. He has reasonable rates.

Scores are all relative to the scoring pace of the lane condition. This means if everyone and thier brother is striking, you better strike, if no one is stringing strikes, keep the ball in play and make your spares.

How much do the coaches from bowl.com generally charge for a session? and how long is a usual session, 1 hour?

You can get in touch with Tom through the bowl.com coach's web pages. Click on Tom's name and his contact information will be available. He's located in Satellite Beach.

From what I found on the bowl.com "find a coach" section, there's 5 coaches listed in the Orlando area; 4 silver level and one gold level.
