No - I'm lucky enough to work in the Pro Shop so they live in there. I just carry a couple down to the lanes at league time - if I have too many options available I'll just get myself in trouble smile

Brandon,
Welcome to my world. A few weeks back I started getting into the habit of only taking 2 balls (plus my plastic spare ball) down on the lanes when I practice and then using only those same two balls during league. Sometimes it's hard if I'm struggeling because I want to run back to the Pro Shop and grab the magic ball that will fix everything - even though we all know that doesn't exist.

I walk into league with my 3 ball bag. When I first started in my current league, there were a lot of people giving me dirty looks. I don't get the looks now. I would like to buy a decent 4 ball stacker sometime in the near future. I always take 4 to tourneys anyway.

Jeff,
The Magic Ball i wish it did exists sometiems LOL! Though i seen people who also think getting a New Ball will fix there slump there having.

Yeah i know. I usally make the rotation of my balls then last game i finally relaize to move and im back to same ball i started with but with better results. I should just keep my two other back up ball in my car when i dont change ball i seem to have better results. I need to keep telling my self to move first before changing balls.

Yeh, I get the look and some snide remarks when I roll into league with my four ball bag. "Where ya going, on vacation", or " what you selling" or the remarks that I take up too much room with "all my stuff". Just got to ignore them and let your bowling do the talking.

My sig lists the balls I currently use. I started with a 14 pound Columbia 300 White Dot, then decided I wanted to start hooking the ball. I went with the Brunswick Power Groove (another 14 pounder) and that was my "arsenal" for a while until I got the 15 pound Brunswick Monster Frenzy from a teammate. While I bought the Power Groove to learn how to hook the ball, I really learned how to hook using the Monster Frenzy. Ironically, I now use the Power Groove as my spare ball, but it hooks fairly well on dry or highly reactive lanes.

My fiance wanted to increase her ball weight from 12 pounds, so I got my White Dot plugged and she's using it happily. Christen still has her 12 pound ball, a Brunswick Viz-a-Ball with Winnie the Pooh. It's a long story, but when she wanted to replace her cracked Brunzwick Target Zone, I couldn't resist. She attracted a lot of attention during the summer league last year, especially when she knocked out a couple of 200 games and a run of 7 strikes in a row.

Believe me, there's nothing like seeing somebody with a Winnie the Pooh ball having a 7 strike run.

I don't think I've ever seen that. I bet it was really cute.

But, I'd be really PO'd if someone beat me with that ball.
