WOW..
What an ending to game 4, a walk off three run shot, bottom of the ninth by Ordonez. Kinda rooting for the Cards to make, it would be like 1968 again, same outcome too I hope. Mets pitching is in trouble. We shall see....

First time I have ever changed the channel during a Cardinals postseason game. That was just way too depressing. Congrats to Detroit players, coaches, and fans and good luck in the WS!

I think the Cards will make it, the Mets have pitching trouble with a couple of guys hurt. Tigers Jim Leyland and the Cardinals Tony LaRussa are good buds. That would be interesting. Of course the Tigers knocking off two NY teams would be pretty cool too.

I turned off game three of the WS in the 8th inning. I can't take watching the Tigers strike out, hit pop ups, and week grounders. If they don't get their act together and start hitting the ball with some authority they are in trouble. This WS will be over by friday. The Cards pitching is good, but c'mon Tigers ,you did'nt get this far by swinging at bad pitches. Be selective and start driving the ball. And whats with all the errors? Looks like Detroit is wilting under pressure.

Cards are looking really good. They haven't had to so much as touch the bullpen, Suppan will be in game 4 and available for bullpen work games 6 and 7 if it goes that far. Everything is stacked against Detroit right now. I'd love to see another exciting game 7, but I'd definitely be happy if the Cards sweep in StL for the win. I think the colder weather is hurting Detroits pitching, maybe their bats too. Go Cards!

The Tigers have pitched in cold weather vs. the Yanks and A'S with no problem, But I agree their bats are real frosty right now. I have seen this all year, just when you count them out WHAM, they wake up and roll over the opposition. Hoping its gonna happen again.

( SIDE NOTE): St.Louis looks like a real nice place, got to visit there sometime.

Well it is over, Detroit blew it, things really started going down hill after Granderson tripped and fell going after an easy fly ball.

But lets flash back,, 1968 one of the best outfielders in baseball, in center field for St. Louis, trips and falls on an easy fly ball, things go down hill and Detroit wins the 68 WS.

Pretty strange eh?

Congratulations to the St.Louis Cardinals and their fans.
St. Louis is a great baseball town and are deserving of a title.
Detroits youngsters kinda wilted under the pressure and made it easy for the Cards, with all the errors...wow.
But we are young and this experience can only help in the lomg run.
The Tigers will be back.

One more thing...I don't know who those guys wearing the Tiger uniforms were. Its not the team that I seen most of the summer and through the playoffs, cruising through New York and Oakland.
Its just a shame the national audience did'nt get a chance to witness those Tigers.
