I was wondering if anyone else has seen the news realses (bowl.com) regarding this new Senior Tour. It is a full blown 30+ tournament schedule. As a person that is fast approaching the magic age and holds about the right average - I'm excited.

I have felt that the Seniors have been left behind in the new PBA and I miss seeing the bowlers that I used to watch every Saturday and I am glad that there is a full tour available so they can earn a living bowling once again.

It lists a few names that I have heard of as tournament bowlers - Roth, Holman, Ozio, Petraglia, Couture, Davis, Soutar, Burton, JR....

I am a bit concerned about the possibility of this conflicting with the PBA Senior Tour, but again, if the new tour does a better job of providing an income opportunity for the 50+ bowler, then good for them.

Yes, I've been reading about the GBT and might give it a try when they come to So Cal, $450 is pretty steep to be a guest but I'm sure the payouts are pretty good if you bowl well.
