Hey SoCalJeff, I'm in So CA and didn't know about the 6 gamer at Lake Forest. When's the next one? I would definitely drive down from Long Beach area for that one...let me know.

Haven't bowled at Forest in a while...last time was about 2 years ago in ABT tournament.

Usually it's on the 3rd Saturday of each month - I'll confirm the date and let you know.

Forrest has changed alot - they're dumping a ton of money into it since it was purchased from AMF. AMF letting a house run down - imagine that?

Thanks...I'll check the Bowling News also. I'm sure it's advertised in there.

Thanks Jeff...I woke up this morning and was thinking about the 6 gamer. I hadn't been on the board in a minute, but I see that you posted the next one. Appreciate it.

Look forward to coming down next weekend...

Bowled my first big scratch tournament here Saturday. I was a bit nervous and it showed. The shot was actually pretty good with ball speed being the major area of concern. You had to play mostly inside of 5 board with some speed on the ball, because the backends were flying. Overall, a good shot and I was a bit disappointed that I didn't fair better.

My games ranged in the 180's with a 229 in there...but overall, just not good for me. I think besides the nerves, I wasn't well rested because I had to do a lot of running around early that morning. But OK, I'm a bowler, no excuses...I just didn't bowl well and that's that.

I will definitely be returning to go at it again, it's a great experience for just $60. Come November, I'll be more than ready...I don't think I'll make it next month, because I'm sure that weekend I'll be in Vegas shooting the Quad.
