Well, after a lot of research and a lot of conversation here (thanks, everyone!), I decided on and ordered an original Inferno. And...it didn't come in! The distributor was out of them temporarily. So I have a chance to ask another question: What's the word on the Zone Classic and how it compares to the Inferno?
Both have the Activator coverstock and the same finish, but the cores are different. On
Brunswick's ball comparison chart, the two balls are adjacent to each other.
Brunswick indicates that the Classic would go slightly longer and make a slightly more angular move. Question: Is the Classic essentially a value-priced Inferno, with the same versatility and performance range (including its friendliness to a variety of drillings), or does the difference in cores make it a significantly different ball?
I hope I'm asking the right questions about all this stuff! Thanks again for all your help.
