It depends what type of content you are looking for.

Bowling This Month is the best for ball reviews and technique.

Bowlers Journal has the commentary and industry coverage.

I don't care for Bowling Digest in the least.

I, too, highly recommend Bowling This Month magazine. It offers expert tips and advice for every bowler from the beginner to the high average bowler.

We also subscribe to Bowling Digest, but for the money it does not have as much information in it as BTM. It tends to cover stories on the pros, etc...rather than offer advice.

Good Luck...

For the fan, Bowlers Journal International
is by far the best. Bowlers Digest is poor.

As a subscriber to no less than four bowling magazines, Bowling This Month (BTM), Bowlers Journal International (BJI), Bowling Digest, and ABC's Bowling magazine, I think that the best all around is BJI. BTM has the most detailed reviews of balls and some really good instructional articles. Bowling Digest is good for beginner instruction and gneral info. Bowling magazine deals mostly with the administrative side of bowling but does have some good bowling tips. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with any one of these. It all depends upon where your interests lie.

by all means skip bowling digest. Bowlers Journal and BTM are probably the best but both could be so much better if BTM had the looks of BJI and BJI had the articles BTM does.

BTM has by far the best instructional content, which can get a little heavy at times! They used to have good ball reviews also, but in my opinion they have become a little confusing over the last 6 months with regards to hook ratings etc,so i've found Bowlers Journal's ball reviews better!Anyway, these 2 are the best by far!!!!! smile

I also enjoy Bowling This Month, but the ball reviews don't always make a lot of sense. The Bowlers Journal has a lot more content, but never has winners results from the NW region.
