If you have any significant number of games on the V2Sweet, then I'd take it into the
Pro Shop and have it refinished, possibly to a less shiney/polished one. And take that ball and experiment going further outside then you currently are, and/or learning how to more point the ball into the pocket rather then swinging it. Possibly take a private lesson on this new pattern and see if they can help you better play it for around $40, rather then the $100+ for a new ball. The money in the lesson will never be wasted, but the ball might.
