You may want to try talking to your local Pro Shop to see if they can order you one. As you probably already know, they aren't cheap. If you can't get any help from them, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

Just out of curiosity...whats an armadillo, im thinking little armor plated animal that lives in texas but that cant be right...but if it is i want one too.

Its a clear plastic tool with rulers and markings that was invented by Mo Pinel to aide in the layout of bowling balls. For example it makes finding the PAP very easy. Its named armadillo because its helmet/armadillo like shape.

Besides ordering one direct from AMF, or through a local Pro Shop I don't know how else you can find one. I had an extra one but recently ebayed it.

LOL, like PinMonkey I was thinking small helmeted animal. I instantly thought Coach Rich had gotten so desperate on the lanes that he needed
"nature's bowling ball" to help out. That way when it hit the pins it could uncurl and knock down whatever was left on the pindeck. Tough getting an elipical object through the ball return though.
