You struggle to get to the pocket and leave a 7 - 9 spilt and you're right handed(yeah it was that bad).

last night in league, one lane plays up the 15 out to 8. the other plays straight up the 2. 3 sanctioned gutterballs for me last night! (three -/'s though, picked em all up.)

When I was in college, we used to count the amount of pocket 8 pins we would leave. We would count pocket 8-10s as 2. I remember one tournament in Columbus, Ohio. I was throwing a Turbo X and a Turbo XL. Both were dull. It seemed everyone on the right side was having a hard time getting the ball to the pocket. During practice, I was drilling the hole going from 15 out to 8. During the first game, I threw the pocket 10, pocket 10, then pocket 8, pocket 8-10, pocket 8, pocket 8-10. That was when my coach pulled me. He put me back in for game 3. First 2 shots, pocket 8-10s. That was it for me for the day. I could understand it if I was pointing the ball but ****. Talk about a frustrating day.

That sounds like what happened to me during the Weds morning pot games. 8, 10, 8-10 nearly every shot only made a few strikes in all three games and couldn't do better than a 202. I don't mind leaving a 10 all that much, cause I've gotten pretty good at picking them off this year, but hitting the pocket hard and flush and leaving an 8 that just makes me sick - especially when it happens over and over again like that.
