I had that opinion - but we've got a couple of kids working on it and when they hear a couple of the fundamentals of two-handed bowling, they really start to do well.

Honestly, bowling with as many hard-fast-straight bowlers, I'm happier with those who actually WORK on their two-handed bowling. They're so much more amenable to hearing WHY they didn't get that strike than the hard-fast-straight bowlers are.

Who knows, perhaps two handed bowling will save the sport? We need something to stir up interest.

Good response. With so many thumbless wonders heaving the ball now irate when they don't strike, two-handers seem natural. Overall, they do ten to work on their game a lot more from what I've seen.

On that note - I gave both of them a couple of observations on Friday evening - both had good balance, were cradling the ball in their backswing, but one was turning the ball, and the other was bringing their delivery hand UP. When I mentioned to them that they don't need to turn the ball or "hit up" on the ball to get rotation, and that they need to push their delivery hand OUT and FORWARD, they started hitting the pocket again.

That's honestly one of the biggest things to me - they work on it and are actually happy to get input. Straight tossers couldn't seem to care and if something doesn't work immediately then it's "too hard" and they still get nasty when they hit Brooklyn but leave 5 pins. . .
