Just wondering if anyone on here had had the chance to this ball. I have the vintage lt-48 and I love it. This is the next vintage ball and I'm seriously interested in is ball. Any feedback would be much appreciated

I haven't gotten one yet, but I suspect its only a matter of time. I also suspect its only a matter of time before they're on every rack of every league in the country. I further suspect that at least on a house shot, you can't go wrong in getting one.

Champ, I hav the lt-48 and it's probably my all time favorite ball. I think I might need to start following the vintage line and get all the balls that come out on it. I just hope they make a urethane one so I can complete my switch to Brunswick

That ball always reminds me of the Big Lebowski haha, when they're doing the first bowling alley scene they show the rack and there's all kinds of vintage balls, most notably the Gold Rhino. They added a new core right?

It sounds like they modified the core but used the vintage style, and used a new cover stock, a couple of guys in my league are using them and they are working well for them on medium / dry conditions. They do go with the Big Lebowski bowling shirts our team has !

Got this ball and had it drilled pin down, went and tried it out, I threw 4 games, alternating, bowled all 4 1st frames then all 4 second and so on. Used the Rhino for the first 2 and the roto-grip hyper cell skid for games 3/4. The rhino games were 219 and 227 and the skid was 172 and 177. Seems like the Rhino hits very hard and had a few boards leeway where as the skid hit even harder when I got it right but I didn't have much margin for error. when I missed even a board or 2 right I left washouts. To be fair the lanes were slightly dryer than is ideal for the hyper cell skid but I was very impressed with the rhino and am looking forward to trying it out on league conditions. I wonder how long it will take for my teammates to notice the
gold ball!
