Hi,

this is Axel from Germany with my very first posting here.
To get good advice here in Germany isnŽt that easy due to a lack of good coaches.
Here are two vids of myself practicing on a sunday afternoon.
I would appreciate any comments and advice to help imptoving my game.
Bye the way, my average is 165 and IŽm struggling with consistency

Is it me or does your pushaway goes infront of your left shoulder?

That's a major cup at the top of the swing . Most people who hook the ball a lot try's to stay relax during the swing until the down swing. After the ball passes the balance leg that's when all the magic/ power happens. In your video your already uncupping the ball by the time the ball is at your balance leg.

You will also notice that your bowling arm is bent backwards a little . I would like to see a video of your approach at regular speed . Maybe your too fast . Notice the pros arm is extended straight from the shoulder to the wrist.

Also - the rear video should not be so zoomed in - we want to see the whole "you" while you're video-ing

thanks so far for your answers.
I made a rear video last thursday and was shocked about the result. My swing looks horrible. I had made some adjustments last spring and never made a video since.
IŽll post a Video to compare my performance from last August to last thursday and what I made yesterday. So IŽll get back to you with that tonight.
Bye for now

Go back to the 2013 pushaway. Only thing that stands out is,

http://s943.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/Untitled_zps63bc5692.png.html

1) after the release the pointing out with the elbow. think low and long!

http://bowlingknowledge.info/images/stories/mt_follow_through_like_a_pro_sept_1_2006.pdf

2)when you release the ball your hand goes outside of your head.Think through the Face.

3) the balance arm is closing the shoulders instead of leting the shoulders rotate.

Thank you for your input.
IŽll try to follow your advice.

Yesterday night in houseleague bowling, I made some really nice and good feeling shots.

Now I think, I can do the steps taking me to the next Level.

Axel
