Had been looking at the next ball for my arsenal, and with the help of some great videos decided to lay down some cheddar and get a new ball. Main reason I wanted new ball was to take another high volume ball with me to Nationals at end of the month.

Went to a Pro Shop that I had heard a lot of good things about vs. the Pro Shop guys in my centers that don't really try to learn or watch how you bowl, essentially just ask "What do you want it to do?" and start laying it out. They don't even spend the time to find a PAP etc.

This new to me Pro Shop did a great job, not only finding from my prior balls what my PAP distance was but how the balls were laid out. What a concept, actually spend time with your customer and learn about them and their arsenal to give future suggestions on how balls may fit into them. Lightbulb moment!!!

Hyper Cell Layout is 40 X 5 3/8 X 35
Top 3.12oz
Pin 3-3.5
Pap = 5 5/8 over 5/8 up.

Shot some video of my first couple games trying the ball out. Will be able to see how it performs on fresh oil on Thursday. From what I have seen so far, my Tuesday night league house it wouldn't do well there with the lighter volume that they put out.

First series out the gate with this ball was a 709. Should have been higher but my focus on 10 pin spares in 3rd game wasn't where it needed to be. Missed 2 with ball in channel 1 ft before getting to the pin. 263-244-202. Ball hits like a truck and has a nice smooth roll hitting 17 at arrows with a breakpoint of 8-9.

that ball seems awesome. what weight? i see pin up but what is your pap and axis of rotation and tilt? I was considering the Hypercell and the IQ Tour Fusion, but i hve seen the Fusion thrown and it can act squirrely from my observations. This ball looks great and the reason i ask for your specs and how it is laid out is that we do not throw it much differently.

this may be my next ball.

Ray, to be honest. I do not know my Axis tilt and rotation. I am going to go back to the Pro Shop to find that info out. Have read a way to check it, but deals with screenshot of video and overlay image and I just don't know how to do that stuff.

Ball is 15lb.
Pap is 5 5/8 x 5/8 up
Dual angle layout is 40 X 5 3/8 X 35

As an update found someone that know Photoshop and looks like my Axis Tilt is 10 and my rotation is 55.

does this ball snap on the end for you or roll up in an arc?

I am thoroughly impressed with this ball. Had the chance to use it on the USBC Open National patterns today at the USBC ITRC and while it was too much ball for Doubles/Singles after 1 game, it matched up perfectly with Team pattern. Shot a 701 on the Team pattern.

This ball has some serious back end movement after it hits the end of the patterns. Not huge snap, but a nice strong arc. Loves the oil.

Had a Mike Fagan sighting at the ITRC.
