My scores this week...194, 289, 249 for a 732 series. I got off to a slow start thanks to back-to-back 8 pins, followed by back-to-back splits before getting lined up. Second game, I had another chance at 300, but a stubborn 7 pin said not this week. All my teammates bowled over their average, but we still did not win a point against the top team in the league. I hope we do better here.

Not small framed. No kidding smile

When I tell most people that I weigh 260, they look at me weird and tell me that they didn't think that I was that heavy. Last year I went to Great America with my daughter and kept going to the booths where they guess your weight. I went 3 times and won 3 times. All of them were way under. Honestly, I want to get rid of the gut. That is my main concern. Whether I weigh 220 or 280, I don't want the gut.

Kids are good. My daughter is in 3rd grade and the boys are in kindergarten. They are all getting bigger by the day. They are all signed up for soccer for the summer. I am hoping that the boys get some more coordination and then next summer they can get into something that will work better with their size. Like you said about me not being small framed, neither are they.

Hehe, "husky" was the word when I was growing up. Now, there is "fluffy", thanks to Gabriel Iglesias.

When I was 22, I was 6'0, 175 pounds. Now I'm 38, 6'0" and 260 pounds. No way could get to that now. I'd rather be fluffy.

I can relate. From my mid-20's to mid-30's, after starting to work in an office, I gained about 10 pounds a year.

I got married in 1999. I was at 200 then. I started working at my current job in 2009. I was 220 then. I steadily gained weight until 2012 when I went through my divorce. I was 240 then. In the last 2 years is when I put on the last 20. Time to take the pounds off.

Ha, get a woman. Preferably one who can't cook.

I got married in 1972 at 225 pounds. today, I am 224 as weighed by my Doctor last Thurs. The wife says I am fat as gravity has taken its toll. Then I say I am the same weight as when I got married. And, ask her what hers is.

She usually hits me and doesn't talk for a day or two. As she is certainly a little plumper then 98 pounds on our wedding day.

Really worked hard for these scores, tonight.

206 - 197 - 205

The lanes were kind to only 2 bowlers. A teammate rolled a 300. And, an opponent rolled a 279. The rest of us were all under average. but, I won all of my points against a Brunswick staffer. Hard as that may seem.

Some days, bowling is a grind. There have been many nights when some people have 2 boards of area to carry and they both have arrows on them while others have to hit a crack on the lane 45 feet down to score. I pick up my Fusion tonight. I'm giddy with excitement. I love new ball day.

Oh, and I did all of the cooking in my marriage. My first job when I turned 16 was at an Italian restaurant. Started doing dishes and worked up to doing pizzas then dinners. I worked there until college and then on all breaks until I was 21. I learned a lot working there.

As for her weight on our wedding day versus now, I would say that we have probably put on the same percentage of weight. Last time I tried, I was still able to carry her over the threshold. My gf now can cook but not as good as me. I should let her cook for me more often. Then I would be sure to lose more weight smile
