An amazing bowler. He leads the tournament wearing the Google Glass.

Storm News Article: Wearing his Google Glass headset and averaging 253.6, 2012-13 PBA Player of the Year Jason Belmonte of Australia moved into the second round qualifying lead of the Barbasol PBA Tournament of Champions Saturday at Thunderbowl Lanes.

Belmo's Facebook comments below

Just shot 297 with @googleglass - what happened you asked? Well I choked, big time! smile

My @storm_nation UPROAR that I used to throw some strikes tonight. Pretty amazing ball. Clean in the fronts, big kick down the lane. Kind of what you want a lot of the time.

ITRC gets cutting-edge technology with Google Glass

http://www.bowlingdigital.com/bowl/node/12911

"The ITRC already has eye-tracking goggles that tell what a bowler's pupil is focused on and looking at. The Google Glass will serve as a complement to the eye-tracking goggles, which Ross said are much more sophisticated."

Pretty dang cool. Did he wear it for the entire game? Entire Day? Or just a few frames?

Last year? Not pretty. No high scores worth posting from 15-16. But good times ahead. smile

Vic , I am pretty sure he was wearing from game 1 . He made the comment on Facebook: "After a nervous start of 203 with @googleglass at the @PBATour TOC. Finished strong to get to +226"

The 203 was game 1 round 1 . The 297 was game 4 round 2.

Ahhh.. Well, good for him. And good with publicity for the game of bowling. Very positive stuff there.

Everything I have seen here lately puts them between $1,500-$1,800 depending on which "version" you get.
