I usually walk in with my 6 ball bag, and keep a 2 ball tote in the car. I'm having a bad night if I have to go to the car. I think an ideal situation would be 3-4 3-ball roller bags, lined up handles facing out of the back of the SUV for easy access. I might go to that setup the next time I have to replace my bag.

That's a lot of bowling balls. I wouldn't know what to do with them all. I'm just getting around to the idea of three or four instead of just two.

Yeah I use all 3-ball tournament totes. Makes it easy to get in and out of the car and easily organize all my equipment into "sets".

I typically organize them as a 3-ball arsenal each where each ball has a similar roll on the lane and they just step in one direction or the other.

So for instance, one of my bags has three bowling balls with the same layout 65x2.5x30; Marvel-S, Marvel Pearl, IQ Tour Fusion.

Another has a similar setup; Zero Gravity, Byte (1000), Byte (box).

And so on...

I'm beginning to think leagues should start assessing double or triple fees for having all this equipment LOL With a sometimes bad back and two bad elbows, the thought of a three or 4-ball roller doesn't excite me much.

As for having equipment in the car? It was Minus 12 when I got out of league last night, I'm not sure what shape the ball would be in as it warmed up inside.

I have a 2-ball roller plus a single ball tote I can use a shoulder strap with. Last night, all I could do is roll my eyes as I walked inside, and they had cranked the heat up. Practice had already started, and I saw many balls headed Brooklyn at that point.

Fortunately for my opponents, I had put some surface on my Disturbed, and left my Wrecker at home (:

See, being in Florida I don't have those issues lol.

I leave my equipment in my car year round and it never comes out unless I am walking in to a center (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME LOL).

Keep in mind I replace my arsenal regularly so if something did crack it wouldn't be a huge deal for me, as I can replace them in most cases. Our weather doesn't swing temperatures enough in almost all cases to cause too much of an issue so I don't foresee an issue.

For reference, I have always left all my equipment in my car and I have never once had a ball crack on me.

Up north, we keep 'em loose in the back of our pickup trucks (toughens 'em up), and use a coal shovel and wheelbarrow to get 'em into the bowling alley, hehe. wink

LOL I'll bet you don't have much residual oil in those Florida balls. I've had a couple in the summer that had that special shiny look.

The problem in the cold tends to be that the core expands in a different timeframe as the rest of the ball. I've seen a few split wide open. We had a guy's ball come back cracked up through the thumb hole once in the ball return. Left in in his car all day and went to league after work.

Not to mention, when mine gets cold, I have to use quadruple tape so it even begins to fit.

We actually have a guy in a league I am in that uses a rolling garbage can (like a big 32 gallon or whatever the outside ones are) as his bowling bag. His team is appropriately named "Garbage Pail Kids"...

LOL. Funny and appropriately named. Hopefully, the garbage can has a lid for inside the bowling center!

Back on topic, I was wondering how the IQ Tour Fusion (or solid) compares with the Sync? Is it even a fair comparison with the stronger core and cover on the Sync? The hook shape does appear similar on Storm's website, just more total hook for the Sync?

I saw a guy with 9-ball bag. i think he said it was a Donkey or something like that. looks like you can add a 3-ball section at a time. i'd like to get one of those.
