Well, we cut directly into the lead, taking five from "All Balls On Deck", but our third game cost us the tie for the lead with two weeks left. Still, four points out isn't death, and still a week to go before the likely "rubber match".

Good luck & better bowling this week, guys! laugh

The frame-by-frame

Over average for the fourth week in a row, but yeech, that third game! Hope my second game helps, anyway (It turned out to be the high game on the pair.).

Not a very good week...

202,191,179 572/191avg. On a high note, my book average finally crested 200, a goal I've had since the beginning of last season... although it's likely to drop back to 199 after this week. Hope the rest of you did better than me... or we're in big trouble...

Not quite what the doctor ordered; a couple of low pocket 7-10s, tossed the first ball in the first game, 10th frame into the ditch after a strike, then a ring 10 on the spare shot. Close but not much to show for it all night. The Marvel Pearl rolled well: Just too much operator error and tough carry. Pick us up whoever is left wink

No consistency this week. 3 splits a killer the first game. Couldn't find a strike then last game could been all strikes all solid pocket hits. Sorry guys on the first game. 170 201 268 639. I will post BOWLSK later.

Two points from "5 Fingers of Destruction", but "All Balls On Deck" lost all seven against "Splits For Brains"; the bad news in that latter result was that "Splits For Brains" leapfrogged us into second place. We can still win, though...five points from "Professional Amateurs" combined with a 4-3 win by "Splits for Brains" would create a three-way tie, and we can win outright in that scenario with at least six points.

Good luck and better scoring guys! laugh

Well... I'm going in with everything I've got Wednesday. I'm in 1st place in our single handicap head-to-head (been there all season) and this week is the final game. Hopefully my opponent will have an average night and I can take it this time!

I bowled Saturday (my daughter and I have a combo birthday party at the lanes... we rent 6 lanes and have everyone we know come and bowl) and felt pretty good. I hope to carry that into this week. The 811 seems to be working, although I seem to have a problem now when the lane burns up by the 3rd game, trying to keep from crushing the headpin. I'm just not adjusting fast enough.

Good shooting this week, everyone!

The frame-by-frame

Left four splits, all in the second game. Speed adjustment (slower) saved the third game, but I'm over average on the night for the fifth week in a row.

Back me up, guys!

Well...not so much the 2nd game...

242,169,214 625/208avg Just had a complete crash and burn the 2nd game.

The good news is I won the singles handicap head-to-head pot for $350; and we took 18 of 20 points from our opponents.

Let's hope we do the same....

232-245-198---675 with the Marvel Pearl. I had a good look most of the night. We were on one of the end pairs, lanes 39 & 40, and lane 40 did its usual thing with the track frying much sooner than lane 39. I didn't get my last ball on lane 40 out enough and left a Greek Church in the ninth frame of the 3rd game. We lost the game by two sticks and are now 3 points out of first place with one week remaining in the second quarter. Man, to have that one shot back...

Bowl well this week X-Factors! It's been a good run and I've enjoyed bowling across the net with you this season.
