I'm Lynda, I'm 48 and I am a "newbie" bowler. I have been bowling since March 2013 and I absolutely love it. Even going to practice is fun for me since I enjoy bowling and the thrills that come with it.
My current average is only about 81. It's a far cry from my first bowling game where my best avg. was 37! On the plus side, I won $10 for being the lowest averaged female. LOL
I currently have 2 balls: one is 8 lb. ball (I'm not sure of the maker) and the other is a 10 lb. "Circle q" I think, but am not sure either. I'm a left handed bowler, and I have carpal tunnel in my bowling hand. For the time being I'm using my 8 lb. ball during league games, as I have better control with it and can easily score over my average. Currently I'm in a league in the capital district of NY state. My teammates are a huge help and I've made some great friends from this league.
The alley we play it has some of the oldest lanes and pinsetters around, but we always have a great time.
I have some questions and will be needing advice, as I'm still learning some of the bowling lingo.
Thanx for letting me join!
