Tonight was a real grind. One opponent was a super high rev no-thumber throwing urethane across the whole lane. Another was an old guy slow rolling a Nano at 500 across the whole lane. Together they completely trashed the lanes. My first 26 frames were clean, and then I opened the last four frames. I shot 200, 203, 159 for 562. I was high among righties on the pair.

Tough conditions to bowl on. Good job staying clean as long as you did.

What area of the lane did you try playing?

Bowled below average last night. 190-162-163. Last two games lanes were getting toasty from several right handers on the same pair and several who throw big hooks. Last game I tried moving in and swinging the ball with them and it was feast or famine. I would either strike or big split. I finally moved outside with plastic and was able to stay more consistent. Should have done that sooner. I was way behind on my moves last night.

My "double absent" bowler is on your team, so BowlerBill may be joining this team this week if the regular team member doesn't submit.

Norm, just submit this week...I really only have the "double absent" rule in place so that teams don't have to suffer from having to carry bowlers I don't hear from. smile

Didn't bowl great this week but it wasn't too bad either. 184-161-192. Couldn't be as consistent as I would like. left a few too many splits.

Thank you very much Richie, and sorry about last week guys. Didn't bowl so well this week: 163, 187, and 214. The lanes weren't forgiving and I wasn't accurate enough and I paid the price. Had some bad breaks, but threw a lot of bad shots too.

Good luck this week guys!

I had a bit of a rebound this week after the last two. I shot 257, 200, 180 for 637. We were on the last pair of lanes the league uses, and a fraternity "league" was right next to use for the last few frames of the last game. I lost focus, and had my first opens of the night. It could have been better, but I don't mind.

Good luck this week guys.

Bowled ok last night. 192-190-192. I just can't seem to have any breakout nights. Everything felt really good last night but my carry wasn't as good as I would like. Missed about 3 makeable spares. That is where I want to improve but just can't find the time and money to get to the lanes to work on it more.
