Pepe is a heck of a bowler. I've seen him show up on a lot of the NEBA footage online, and he's definitely another one of those guys who could be a full tie pro if such a thing existed anymore.

Pepe is definitely good enough to be in the PBA. Parker Bohn said he is the best lefty right now. Perhaps we'll see him make an appearance when the PBA makes a winter stop in Maine early next year.

well, should have won another tournament last Sunday. anyway. been finishing in the top 5 almost every tourn I bowled this summer. took 2nd in this one after being top qualifier. just caught a bad break on my first shot in the 10th. needed a spare and 6 to win. a good position to be in, but I released my ball ( REAX Pearl) just a little too firm and the ball didnt quite recover and left a pocket 7-10. would have been nice to make it, but would have been nicer to strike.

I know what I did wrong. my odds will be better next time im in that position. hopefully this weekend upcoming.

since late spring when I won on a Cheetah pattern, ive cashed 5 out of 6 events in the top 5. 1-6th, 2-5th, 1-4th, and 2nd last week.

as long as I put myself in position to win, I will be posting more wins.

good luck all.

Great bowling RayRay and congrats on consistently cashing. I've noticed bowling tournaments myself is when you get into match play it can be a bit of a crap shoot, but if you're consistently qualifying you're in a great position to post some wins.

I bowled in a tournament myself today, it was handicap but a lot of good bowlers. Started with a craptacular 145, just couldn't find the line/the right ball and kept leaving splits. Turned it around in the 2nd & 3rd games though. Was clean the rest of the way, and had a 4-bagger toward the end of game 2 for a 223. 3rd game I started with 9/ and 8/ but had 5 in a row with my Sure Thing which could have easily been 6 in a row. Buried the pocket and somehow the 10 went untouched. Did finish with 247 which was good enough to tie with 2 other people for the last qualifying spot. Lost in the two frame roll-off but did earn a free entry into a future tournament. Happy with how I was able to bounce back after a really bad first game.

Look forward to hearing about how other members are doing on the tournament circuit. Let's keep this thread going.
