Last night I had a 1-strike 9-spare game (186). I've never spared all 10 frames, who here has? I know USBC used to give an award for a 10 spare game but I understand they don't do it anymore.

I did it twice my first season of bowling, when I was only averaging in the 150s. Both games were in the 170s. I haven't done it in the years since however.
Nowadays, I open bowl practice and go to Nationals every year.

Most I ever had was maybe 5. If I left too many single pin spares, I figured I would need to make some kind of adjustment.

Honestly I don't know my most spares in a game, but definitely not 10 or 9 as every game usually has one strike or open. Maybe 6, possibly 7 in one of those games that carry wasn't good or I was just a tad off, or sometimes way off on some of my shots.

I have had one all-spare game. I think it was the most work in a game I've ever done! LOL

No strikes, lots of 7 pin (which I have zero problem with) and a couple of 5 pins - everything makeable. Was third game and just couldn't get everything to fall.

Not sure if I've ever had an all spare game, but 9, yeah, I've done that. High 180s I believe. Maybe 190.

I may have but honestly don't remember if I did. Usually if I just can't strike I'll do something to try and force it and end up with something I can't make. On a barely related subject though, as a nod to Rob Stone I decided that four spares in a row should be called a "Sparebone".
