Before I joined league in 2011-2012, I could count how many times I bowled on a single hand. Thus, I was very inexperienced and very terrible at bowling.
Who wants to take a guess at what my lowest game was in sanctioned league [that year]? Wait for it...wait for it...32. I didn't miss the "1" in front of that number. Let that sink in for a moment. This low game is included in my low series over three games...120. Yes, three games. I remember at the time thinking that I'd never break 100, but I was dead wrong.
If anyone remembers and cares to share their all-time lowest game and/or series in a sanctioned league, please feel free to share it. Most of you will likely say that your all-time low game/series was when you first started out. If so, it's a good thing that I can relate to so many other bowlers.

I honestly can't remember my lowest sanctioned series or game. I do remember several sub 100 games in league. I remember a 92 or 93 but still was over 450 by the end of that night. I do think a year or two before I rolled a 89. I was averaging about 170 at that time and think I just started using my thumb in the ball and was adjusting to it.
In a summer league, can't remember if it was sanctioned or not, I had a 380something series, and was around a 200 average in that league at the time. It was a trios league, the whole other team wasn't there and one of my teammates also didn't show. Just couldn't slow the pace down enough. The following weekend I bowled in a doubles tournament that played a lot like a reverse block and just had issues hitting the pocket no matter how I played and put up another 380 series.

My lowest series is 400 on the dot, and my lowest game in league is 118. Both of those were very early on, when I first started. I remember being pleased with myself when I shot over 150...now the wheels have to really fall off for me to shoot under 150 (but it does still happen from time to time.) With time, practice, experience, and knowledge, you'll be amazed with how much you can improve.

I have been bowling since I was 6 so I am going to throw all of my games\series out until I was in college. Since then, I am guessing my low game was around a 12something with a series in the 450s. When I am shooting bad and can't carry, I move to basically throwing a straight ball. I can normally salvage something.

Iknos that since my return to the game in 03, I have had a series in the 480's, in league, and I don't know why. I also know that I recover quickly with better series the next time out.
I also remember a few 130 games where nothing goes right. One in particular was a 138 game. But, as I recover fairly quickly, I rolled a 298 the very next game. Can't explain the difference between the 2 games in 1 night. But, I do know, I shot a 298 and didn't shoot a 600 series.

I don't remember my lowest game or series and don't want to. I know I felt miserable after some of those nights and I was thinking about quitting.
It's not a good idea to think about your past failures. It's best to forget them. Try to remember your successes and focus on repeating them. Selective amnesia is a great technique.

My lowest game ever in league was a 90. And I remember it for two reasons. We had the end lanes and everybody was [censored] about them because one had bit of a bump in the heads and the other was a bit concave for like 5 boards in the middle of the lane. But secondly and more importantly, I rolled that nasty 90 game only to followed by a 216. That's kinda embarrassing. LOL
My lowest series the I can remember is a 389. There were a lot of reasons, and they all fall under being inexperienced and new to the sport.

My lowest league game was a 96. I will never forget it. It was the last game and I had two decent if not spectacular games before it happened. I had 7 splits. No matter what I did I hit the nose. It was almost like there was a magnet on the head pin. As far as series I know when I started bowling in league again I had a few series in the upper 300's but do not remember the exact score.

My first year I had an 88 in the first game of a series. What's even more ridiculous is I came back with a 191 in game two, probably setting some kind of dubious record for biggest jump from one game to the next. At the time I was a horrific spare shooter; missed 6 single pins in the first game and they weren't all corners either, and somehow didn't need to shoot any single pins in game two. Worst series was a 395 earlier that year.

Shot a 103 this year, and have carried a 190+ average for a decade.
