I think a lot of the names mentioned are great styles to emulate, I personally think the ones that personify the "current game" the best would be:

Male - Dom Barrett

Female - Diandra Asbaty/Stephanie Nation

Can't take anything away from Kelly because she is a phenomenal bowler, I just think physically Dee and Stephanie have more solid approaches.

Yes, Diandra and Stefanie have some really solid approaches. I try to emulate a cross between those two and it actually works out for me, even though I'm a male (but then again, anyone can copy those kinds of physical games, right?).

For me this is an easy one to answer. I would say Pete Weber hands down. His delivery is the smoothest, most effortless, no grabbing, most power at the pin deck with the least amount of effort I have ever seen. His modern counterpart has to be Michael ( Fagan ). He also has an effortless delivery and produces sick revs. Yet he is versatile. He can loft the ball over the gutter with little effort, be accurate, with the same power. He can also bowl down the first arrow with the same effortless delivery and have more power at the pin deck than most others bowling down the same line.

I also like Parker Bohn and Norm Duke. But Pete and Michael are my favorites. Way too smooth with so much power. I love the open hand with no grab by both of them.

Chris Barnes would be the male with the most desirable mechanics, for me personally.

Suzuna Miyagi has a wonderful swing for a female bowler, not many have such a smooth power game from such a small build.

Choogs/Pluhowsky. Honorable mentions to Belmo (best fundamentals among two-handers) and Elysia Current.

Belmo. Yes, I am a 2 hander, so that makes me a little biased, but he is truly an amazing bowler. He can loft the gutter, play up the gutter, and anything in between. He also has really good form. Effortless backswing.
