Thanks, guys. Dan, I hope for more honor scores this season, but a 300 game would be especially nice, since it would be worth $100. The bowling center pays each bowler $100 for the first 300 game and 800 series of the season. That is one of the reasons I think they change the shot regularly. But, I have been bowling there a few years now, and am catching onto their tricks.

Couple more team honor scores Thursday night- 1069 game (290-278-255-246) and a 2916 team series. Fourth 2900+ series of the season. 278-257-248-783 for me. Lost my shot at 800 in the 9th frame of game 3.

Thanks- we did, but the 3rd game was much closer than it needed to be. Going 5-2 on that night would have ruined the night. Our second game was 983, which we also won by a pretty wide margin, but we struggled the third game, shot 864, and won by fewer than 10 I believe. We were looking at 3000-3100 if we could put one more good game together.

Congrats guys, but i think it's getting a little out of hand calling all these 800's days before they happen. I'd like to call an honor score myself but i haven't been close to 800 yet and I think I still need to get used to the ball weight change before I can shoot 300 again. Maybe 11 in a row.

I can't add to the 800's, but I did shoot 300 Friday night in the second game of league. I'm happy about this one because it's the first time I've shot 300 in consecutive league seasons. Next week should be fun, last season after I shot mine, my teammate shot one a week later. Hopefully, it's his turn again.

This was in a tournament not in league but last Saturday i bowled my first 300 in the second game of a 5 game set. The set was 212, 300, 243, 208, 187 for 1150. I also went on to win the tournament.
