I was kind of hoping to sweep last week, but I'll take 5 of 7.

Yeah thats what I thought, 50ft and hit the left hand gutter, back in the bag.
Lousy night 167 190 130 130, normally play 6 games gave up after 4 , oil seems to be a dirty word. drier then normal. Last two games pushing the control out to 1st board and strugled to make the pin deck. Don't even think a radio controlled ball (Global I think) would have worked.
And I felt good after Sunday ,197 average for 8 games , definitly choose the wrong center to take the scores from.

221-279-244-744 tonight. IQ Tour all 3 games, team wrapped up the second third one week early. First place pays $2550/man in this league.

Good series , again for you Fin, seems like a cracking ball the IQ Tour, pity it won't suit the conditions I encounter.
Now tempted to polish a ball up with a polymer car polish to see if I can put a really smooth, surface on it ,just not sure if it's legal or if the ball return would be able to handle it, Polish would go on either the WD or T Zone, unless some one could advice on a approved method I can have a go at.

Jeepers!!!

Funny story... we have a 'strike pot' at our lanes... 12 predetermined strikes spread through 3 games, $2 to enter. The pot was up to $3800 last night. The team we were bowling against, the anchor won it last night. I told him that made sense... he bowled a 300 against us last year, this was the logical next step. We call him Captain America... and for good reason. He throws a 16# DV8 Misfit sanded down to 5000grit at about 18mph.

Thanks- we have the same strike pot- I broke it a few years ago for about that same amount of money. Nice payday.

I'm impressed thats a decent payout which ever way you look at it. Would appear I live on the wrong side of the pond, if there was some prize money available it would help getting a league going. Had suggested to the Center manager that we start a challage match ,doubles total pin fall over 3 games, beat the house bowlers (son and myself)we're probably around the 400 scratch mark consistantly, not brilliant, but good enough to win a few, just to get some bowlers into the alley, running pot, Great idea {He says}, I'll get some posters up after ??? that was 15mnths ago, still waiting for the posters
