Video from my 1st lesson ever. My coach gave me a few good tips, but any advice you guys/gals have would be appreciated.

That looks pretty good. I like the way you keep your head steady throughout. I would just work on smoothing things out and keeping your elbow behind the ball. You see on your follow-through how your elbow points out to the right? I would work on staying more behind the ball, but that is just me. ...

Perhaps it's just me, but it looks like your timing is off - it looks like you stop your backswing to get it swinging forward on time.

Am I crazy?

No, your not crazy stopping at the top of the backswing is one of the thing my coach wants me to work on.

I'd take a shorter first step to adjust your timing, as your feet get to the line before the ball. Then, you pull your arm through to catch up.

I'd also work on standing more erect to start, as you have a severe forward lean. To get lower you have to squat at your knees, not bend at your waist. As you can see, you straighten back up at the release. But, part of that is your arm pulling you up.

Good post at the release. Shows balance.

Fix your timing and this will fix it's self, I will show you how to fix your timing in a minute.

1) your setup - is OK maybe not as much of a forward lean.
http://s943.beta.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/setup-2.png.html?sort=3&o=6

2) 1st step - everything looks OK.
http://s943.beta.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/1ststep-2.png.html?sort=3&o=5

3)Pushaway - this is how your going to fix your timing. Don't extend the pushaway too far forward past the foot. Think of the pushaway going down to your right foot as the ball is being moved away from your body. The pic doesn't show it but you have a small upward movement in your pushaway.
http://s943.beta.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/pushaway-2.png.html?sort=3&o=4

4)3rd step - When you fix your pushaway the ball will be behind your leg at this point. As your making this adjustment make sure you keep a long 3rd step like Norm Duke.
http://s943.beta.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/3rdstep-3.png.html?sort=3&o=3

5)When you correct your pushaway and keep a long 3rd step your 4th step will be shorter and the ball will be higher spot. Keep your balance arm in front Like Norm Duke.

6)Not sure what your looking at the foul line maybe?
http://s943.beta.photobucket.com/user/spr3wr/media/beforerelease.png.html?sort=3&o=1

7)This is the moment when you lose your body angle (still looking at the foul line)

The back view will come later
What does your coach have you working on?

Everything I see from the back video is related to your timing or I have mention in your side video.

Thank you Spr3wr those tips were all very good. Thank you for the time you spent analyzing my swing. The push away advice was very useful. My coach has me working on the following:

1. not pausing at the end of my pushaway.( Your pushaway tip will probably take care of that issue.)
2. facing my target when I line up instead of facing straight.
3. crossing over on my 4th step currently my 4th step is straight causing my ball to have to swing out slightly which sometime causes me to pull the ball.
4. Not turning my body right at the finish. He is trying to keep my body straighter at the finish.
5. Changed my release where I don't turn the ball as much.

#4 and 5 will be easier when you correct your pushaway.
