I am having alot of trouble staying behind the ball and I think I am leaving alot of 10 pins because of it. Is there anyone out there who could help me on how to stay behind the ball? My oil line goes over my thumb hole and I need it to be a couple of inches away from it, but I can never seem to get it there. Is changing the pitch in my thumbhole something I should try? A glove? An oval thumbhole? Please help.

Hi there, im new at this message thing, but a good training excercise if the foul line drill.I dont know if you know it. Place your sliding foot at the foul line slightly bent. place the ball by your side with your hand directly behind the ball, proceed to swing twice moving backwards first and release keeping your hand behind the ball. do this for 20-30 times and you wont be rolling over the thumb anymore. this will give you a semiroller and keep the track to the left of the thumb. (if you are right handed)

Let me know how you go with that :p
