Had a good week this week.

7/ x x 9/ x x 9/ x x 9/9 = 226
x x x 9/ x x x 9/ 8/ x72 = 235
x 9/ 8/ 7/ 8/ x 9/ 9/ 9/ 9/8 = 188

Series was 649, hopefully it'll help us get some more points this week.

Lanes were freshly oiled and was able to use my dull Nano for the first game and a half, usually have to put it away after the first game. Then switched to polished Nano for the rest of the second and beginning of third before switching to Nano pearl.

Not sure if this counts as 30 clean as left a 4,7-10 split in fill frame of second game. If it does then I actually went 39 clean as I had a couple of games of practice afterwards and didn't leave an open until 10th of fourth game.

Hopefully continues this week as we lost our lead in the league after the second placed team bowled lights out and overtook us.

Rich

Thanks. Felt really good so was happy the scores followed. I was a bit disappointed with the third game, but couldn't seem to strike so made sure I hit the pocket and left a make able spare.

Hopefully we'll manage to continue our rub this week, will be checking regularly.

Rich, as for that last game, I've always liked to say that any game you get out of clean is a good one, no matter what the score is (I'm referring to your third game).

The 2 times I hit 65% this year I had a 686 and a 687 with a couple of opens in each. That is 700 series territory. Yes it is good goal less spares to contend with.I would like to get there too but my spare % needs a definite improvement. I did convert 13/14 last week only miss a 7 pin.

From BowlSK 33 games my spare misses'

Single Pin 46/64 71.9%
Multi Pin 21/27 77.8%
Makeable 67/91 73.6%

This is where I can make the biggest improvement to my average. I miss 1 in 4 spares that is makeable. Worse on the single than multiple pin. If I could be 90% would be 5 pins additional on my average.

Sure like BOWLSK reports. Nemisis still 7 and 10.

Sorry guys I took the family to Disney World and haven't been on here in a few days. Boy an I exhausted though!

Yes you should definitely get that single pin % up. I am shocked it is that low but your average is so high. Your strikes are keeping you above that 205 average, and I can't imagine what your average would be if you got that spare % up to over 80%...maybe 215 average???

My single pin % is at 80, though my multi is 60% LOL...

I notice you are about 3:1 ratio in leaving single to multipin spares. I wonder what that means. My ratio is closer to 2:1...I'd love to get my multipin spare leaves down!

Incredible. You must have been so anxious to get that 300 after having one just a few days earlier in practice. You are going into next weekend with some great confidence, I am pulling for you.

Tell your dad to stream it online live !

That's fantastic bowling Rich. And like RichieV says, any clean game is a good game! If anything it speaks volumes to your concentration that night as you didn't let it lapse for any of those spare chances, even if you were frustrated at your lower than expected scoring.

Congratulations laugh

Did not do right by my new Hook"R". Cannot be shy to move left with this ball. Can you say backend. Missed easy spares in each game. Need more time with her. Love the ball! Hope I did not sink us once again team.

Jordan - Hope it all goes well this weekend with the Ohio championships.

I also liked the suggestion about meeting up somewhere to bowl, although I might have to persuade the wife......

Looking forward to seeing the results this week.
