Kingpin is an awsome movie!!! Great comedy with great actors, but it's just that......a COMEDY!!! Wasn't suppose to be a real life story, and I watch it as such. I watch it at least once or twice a year and I know that it's just a good comedy, nothing else.

P.S. Don't forget to pay your rent, or you know what will happen nelson

At first I believed this movie to be just OK but the more you watch it, the more you pick up and the funnier it gets.

When they win the old ladies cart it is classic film making when they show the car and it slowly works into the picture that the 3 wheeler is on the back of the car.

Watch it, then watch it again...and again. It gets better each time.

Did they have Rhino's back in 1979? I noticed Roy used a gold sparkled one at the beginning of the movie.

It's a tough call for me if I prefer King Pin over The Big Lebowski. My VHS copy of King Pin is pretty worn out though.

It was pretty funny, I just got the DVD for Xmas. My old copy got borrowed and never returned.

I have yet to see The Big Lebowski, I'll have to check it out.

The Big Lebowski is the only other 'bowling' movie that comes to mind

Greedy with Michael J. Fox had a few bowling scenes early in the movie. Fox's character wanted to be a pro, if I remember right.

I was stoked to see Desperate Housewives had a bowling scene last week, shot at a center a few miles from here.

There is an older movie starring Tim Matheson where his character wants to be a pro bowler. I think it was titled "Dreamer"

the Big Lebowski is not only the greatest bowling movie ever, it's also one of the funniest comedies ever. and it's not cheap, easy humor like some other *ahem...kingpin* movies. my monday night team is named the "little lebowski urban achievers."
