All 3 of my kids bowl junior league on Saturday mornings. I had my best friend arrange for us to pre-bowl after the juniors were done for our monday night league. We are both 200+ averages and have grown up bowling together since we were 9 years old, so we really know each others games.

Well, he ended up with a 620. I ended up 256-257-266 for a 779, my second high series ever after my 787 many years ago. Just had one of those days where u cant miss, and just about every shot that went a bit wrong just carried. Still kinda in the zone...

It' even better because I had so many problems with serious pain in my wrist and elbow last year. Refitted my thumb from 1/2" to 1/8" reverse, and I have been doing much better with the pain, but not throwing really great scores.

I haven't had less than 580, but no more than 624 till today. Still averaging 201, but I know I am capable of much better. Just have to get used to the new pitch and the new release.

Hope this is a sign I've turned the corner and I will be throwing better all around. I would love to hit some of the bigger tourneys in the area after january.

Well done mate.. Thats a very , very nice series.. It's just the best feeling when u feel your bowling has "turned the corner" to quote yourself there Mike... Last month I began experiencing this.. It is an awesome and most relieving sensation..

Last week, kinda had one of those nights, where everything seemed to carry.. I'll take it, as I know next week, I may be leaving stone cold motherless 8 pins lol..

Keep it up Mike, keep those big scores going mate.
