Last night, a guy a few lanes over rolled 24 straight strikes for two consecutive 300 games.

Wow, that's a heck of a night. Even with 900s becoming more common, two 300s in the same night is no small feat. My coach has 63 300s, and 45 800s and has never bowled two honor score games in the same series.

We had a guy in the Coke league last season who had 2 300 games in the same series...unfortunately, he sandwiched those around a 201 and only barely made his 8.

Couple years back a guy in our league shot a 900. He was dialed in the whole time, but what amazed me the most he carried 36 consecutive strikes without a corner pin leave!

Thats amazing! Some of the leagues i've bowled in you'll see only a few 300's a season let alone 2 in a series. That would be pretty cool to see!

One of my teammates in match play was on track for a 300 all three games last night. He carried the front 10 in each game, but wound up with 299 - 289 - 299 for the night. The funny thing is he lost the 2nd game........his opponent threw a 290 against him.

Accordng to USBC's record book, that ties Georgia's state record, set in 1990.

Last week a guy at my house bowled 300, 300, 279 to tie our state record. He had 27 in a row until leaving a wobbly ten in the 4th frame of the 3rd game. Seems like a good time to be on the lanes with all these high scores being thrown.

Bowling during regular league competition is apparently getting way too easy with the modern reactive balls and high ratio oil - THS patterns.

Over the summer a bowler went 289-300-300, not sure the exact order of the games in the center I bowl league in. It's not even good enough for the house record much less the local or state record since a 900 was bowled there a few years ago.
