My qualification attempt, frame-by-frame (Linked to BowlSK sheet)

I could definitely say I bowled better today on the "Dead Man" than I have been. My spare game was actually what was holding me in good stead, but it deserted me in the last game, particularly in the middle of it, when I missed three very makeable spares in a row. I figure I make the cut (639) if I stay clean and add the fill strike in the 10th, but I'll definitely take this effort, particularly the first two games (of course).

I think you need to work on tightening up your line from where you start to where you finish. If you look at where you start 33-36 range, and where you aim at, 10-11, if you draw a line from where you are standing to where the ball crosses the arrows, the ball will go in the gutter at around 30ft unless you drift back to the right 10 to 15 boards. Drifting that much effects your consistency, drifting too much, or not enough from shot to shot, greatly impacts the ball's target line, and angle to the break point.
