Your push away looks to be too big, this is slowing down the pace of your delivery. If you could post a shot from the right side so I can see your cadence and timing I could tell you more.

1)Jim has mention your pushaway.

2)your pushaway should be over your right knee (right handed bowler)not outside of your knee or body.

3)improving #2 will stop the ball going to the left side of your head.

4)Keep your slide foot still during and after the release. You popup some after the release try not to hook the ball as much. Touching your shoulder with your bowling hand after the release is outdated.

yup thanks so much, i read those. but do you think i should change my center of gravity such that my head is more to the right and my follow though is closer to my head? or keep it where it is, but just keep the follow through lower

ok i practiced the lower follow through as described in the article you posted for a couple hours. It felt like I was pointing the ball. I was very inaccurate.

I realize that when trying something knew with your game you take a step backwards, but it felt like i was short arming the ball. I was terribly inaccurate and got a poor ball reaction.

Maybe I am not doing it right. I even tried the drill described in the link. Is there something wrong that I am doing here?
