Yeah don't let a slump get you down. I went from 215+ in three leagues to not bowling for a while and when I came back I was at 198 at the end of season and the shot was not that difficult. Mostly mental stuff and rust but I was bowling much better by the end of season but slumped a lot first half so it took a bit to raise my average.

If I could score like d_j_s after one--or even /three/ years--I'd be happy! I've been hitting my spares better lately, which feels good, especially when they're in the right corner. And I get some nice strikes in. As long as we continue to enjoy each shot and each improvement, it's all good.

Thats true Aoiten, continual and steady improvement... Keep working at closing all your frames, scores will rise..

I hear about those young guys, proclaiming "averaging 215 after only 2 years"... Wow, we can get a little discouraged upon hearing this. Way I see it, its a lifetime sport, theres no real hurry here..I can think of this particular guy, who thought he was the messiah of bowling, ave low 200, he use to be, and I'm is still a real show pony.. Anyway, it took some years, but now I score like him.. Whats the rush, as u said Aoiten, enjoy your bowling..
