Darrin Wagner (46, Puyallup, WA) followed in the wee hours of Monday morning with the 47th perfect game of the year, in singles and dedicated the feat to his late mother.

For those of you who missed yesterday's last live streaming event of the tournament, featuring lifetime USBC Open average leader Mike Nape and his Fox Bowl 1 team, you missed good bowling in the second game; Nape, Josh Blanchard, and Gregg Zicha all had the front seven, and Nape himself came up in the 10th with a chance at 300, but rang a 10 on his first ball in the frame. The second game was a 1,278, the second-highest team game in tournament history, and helped the team to 7th place in Regular Team.

Two 800 series in close to 24 hours...

Marc Heninger (25, Kansas City, MO) posted games of 278, 245, and 280 for an 803 series in doubles on Thursday.

Bill Kaelin (52, Virginia Beach, VA) had the 48th 300 game of the tournament in his last game of singles on Friday after posting games of 202 and 299 for an 801 series. It turned out that a pulled 12th shot in that second game prevented Kaelin from becoming the second bowler with back-to-back perfect games on the championship lanes.

Anthony Pepe (23, East Elmhurst, NY), already with several big tournament wins to his credit, added to his career resume by throwing the 49th 300 game of the 2011 Open Championships on Friday in doubles.

http://www.bowl.com/news/xmlburner.jsp?xa=./webapps/ROOT/news/main/data/062611RichardRathjen.xml

Richard Rathjen Jr. (34, Naples, FL) helped close out the tournament's penultimate weekend with the 50th 300 game of 2011. His doubles partner had a 279 game at the same time; unfortunately, those games came in the singles event.

Michael Barber (49, Gresham, OR) had the 51st perfect game of the 2011 Open Championships in singles on Sunday, but, more importantly, it was a milestone 300: it was the 750th in tournament history.

Jarret Mizo (24, Honolulu, HI), a current member of Team USA, ended doubles on Tuesday with the 52nd 300 game of the tournament, then switched lanes for singles and rolled another 11 in a row before a 4 pin robbed him of a place in history as the second bowler with back-to-back perfect games on the championship lanes.

Bill's a league teammate of mine for the last 8-10 years or so, and throws it better than any other 52 year old I've ever seen.

I was expecting to find and being able to post Bowl.com's recap story this week, as the tournament concluded last weekend, but no story yet, as well as the final low-to-cash numbers. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
